I am proud to have signed this letter to Cllr Derek Antrobus, alongside all Salford City Councillors, City Mayor Paul Dennett and Barbara Keeley MP, calling for a road in Eccles to be named after Alan Henning. Alan’s heroism should never be forgotten, “a true humanitarian who cared about people, even beyond his own safety” a true Salfordian.
