Did you know that since the 1970’s Salford Council has had its own residential adventure activity Centre for schools in the heart of Snowdonia National Park?

It is amazing what they do there! Loved visiting for the day last week and seeing @StJosephsM5 St Josephs RC Primary, Ordsall, having the best time ever.

Graham and the team at the centre tailor make programmes to meet the aims and objectives of each group ensuring the maximum benefit for each and every individual. The adventurous activities promote increased self-confidence, motivation and independence.

Residential outward bounds visits to places of nature and beauty should be an experience every child has the right to enjoy. Income should never be a barrier. It is a memory that will last a lifetime and this is something I will be very much taking up in Parliament now.

Big shout out to the pupils and staff at St Joseph’s in my constituency who let me see their activities and let me have some of their Lledr Hall hot choccie on the beach. And well done for being so brave on all the activities, even the Headteacher and staff went down the scary vertical slide.
