Last week I visited the Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research facility at Salford University to hear about the important work they do that’s specifically aimed at helping children.

With a limited number of cancer treatments for children the work Kidscan do in finding gentler treatments to limit the damage is vital.

Kidscan is an amazing charity carrying out cutting edge research and with the support of the University and donors they provide research funding to PHD students and have a state of the art teaching lab and school programme to encourage more children into a medical research career they might not have ever thought about.
