Many residents across Salford and Eccles have been affected by the scandal of leasehold ground rents. Many trapped in properties where ground rent increases to extortionate levels making their property impossible to sell. I have requested that Clive Betts MP chair of the communities and local government parliamentary committee investigate this urgently and put pressure on government to intervene.
