Thank you James and Tommy at Salford Rum for inviting me to officially open The Dirty Old Town Distillery, in their amazingly refurbished railway arch on Viaduct St. Can’t wait to come back and try your Rum Experience soon!

The distillery and Salford Rum was created as a passionate celebration of the history, heritage and people of Salford and the docks. They are proud of Salford & Salford is very proud of them.

Salford Docks grew to be the third largest port in the UK, the spirits take inspiration from the rums, fruits and spices from the Caribbean which were landing on British shores for the first time.

The honey is made from local Salford honey, from Salford bees. It’s lovely.
