Salford Mayor Paul Dennett and I have written to the Justice Secretary calling for an urgent Government investigation into worrying allegations identified in the Manchester Evening News’s report into HMP Forest Bank. Govt must investigate and take urgent action to ensure safety of staff and inmates.
