Huge well done to all of our amazing Labour councillors elected across the city of Salford last night and to all candidates who stood in Salford.

In the Salford and Eccles constituency we got some brilliant results:

• Pendleton and Charlestown – Wilson Nkurunziza – Huge well done for winning another term serving the lovely people of Pendleton and Charlestown. A brilliant passionate and hardworking councillor.
• Blackfriars and Trinity – Emma Cammell – Well done Emma, newly elected councillor for the all women councillor team in @BfTrinityLabour. She will be brilliant and is looking forward to standing up for the lovely people of Blackfriars and Trinity
• Ordsall – Ben Grogan – Huge well done to Ben, newly elected Labour councillor for Ordsall. Ben will be brilliant and is looking forward to fighting for the lovely people of Ordsall
• Quays – Jake Rowland – Brilliant result for Jake last night, serving another term as the councillor for Quays ward. I’ve seen how hard he works and he is looking forward to carrying on his work standing up for the brilliant residents of the Quays.
• Claremont – Mike Pevitt – Huge well done to Mike who was elected last night to continue his hard work for the lovely people of Claremont. He is a brilliant councillor and is excited about developing his plans for the brilliant community things Claremont needs.
• Eccles – Mike McCusker – Massive well done to the excellent Mike who won another term. He is a dedicated councillor who works extremely hard and is looking forward to developing his plans to make Eccles even more brilliant.
• Swinton park – Huge well done to Jim who won another term last night. He has worked hard and is a brilliant councillor. He is now looking forward to making his ward an even more brilliant place to live
• Swinton and Wardley – Bill Hinds – Huge well done to the amazing Bill who won another term. Bill is a dedicated and hard working councillor and he is looking forward to continuing his fight for the services and quality of life Swinton and Salford deserves
• Weaste and Seedley – Charlotte Youd – Huge well done to Charlotte, newly elected councillor for Weaste and Seedley. Charlotte will be a brilliant councillor and is excited about working hard for the lovely people of Weaste and Seedley
• Pendlebury and Clifton – Barry Warner and Chioma Mgbeokwere – Big well done to local legend Barry Warner and the lovely Chioma who won both seats. They are passionate, dedicated and are looking forward to standing up for the amazing people of Pendlebury and Clifton
